As August rolls in, Market on Chocolate goes on

Our fitness schedule this week offers a 9:00 a.m. yoga class and a 10:00 a.m. Dailey Method class. These classes are always held at no charge for our community members.

Little ones can explore their artistic abilities with a free make-and-take art project hosted by SPLAT Studio. The Hershey Library will also be conducting a free activity for children from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.

International flavors will be sweeping through Market this week. Chomp Chomp food truck will be offering fresh Vietnamese options, Rola’s Lebanese Food will have Lebanese treats that include everything from baklava to hummus, and new vendor—Isabelle Cuisine—will be offering specialties from West Africa. Her menu offerings will include items like rice & beans with caramelized onions and curry chicken mango salad.

Avocado alert! The Guacamole Specialist will have their inaugural visit to Market on Chocolate this week. Visit their booth and customize your guacamole while it’s freshly prepared in front of you.

Looking to fill your grocery baskets? Vegetable Power Farm will be offering a freshly picked selection of tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, rosemary, mint, and chives. Pasture’s Pride will have delicious cuts of their hormone free grass-fed natural beef. Tomasic’s Sausage will be there with tasty varieties of sausage.

Tweedman Danocaster will be bringing back his Americana tunes from Noon to 2:00 p.m. with his live music set. Bring a blanket and chair and plan to stay for a while!

Our 25 vendors will have a plethora of beautiful items for you to consider. Remember that it’s never too early to shop for Christmas gifts.

There is one month left of our 2018 summer season of Market on Chocolate, and we know that you don’t want to miss anything—so check out our August calendar at this link to stay updated on all the Market happenings.

Thanks to Penn State Health for making Market on Chocolate possible each and every week!
