On August 12, we will host another exciting Second Saturday full of entertainment, food, vendors, and fun for everyone! The day begins with morning family and fitness activities in ChocolateTown Square, along with Market on Chocolate, where we will be celebrating the Sweet Corn Festival in conjunction with National Farmers Market Week! After checking out vendors, family activities, entertainment, and workshops from 8:00 am -12:30 pm, join us for Music on Chocolate from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm–all in ChocolateTown Square!
Market has a new location! Construction has started on the West Caracas Avenue public parking lot, and Market on Chocolate is moving into ChocolateTown Square Park and the First United Methodist Church upper parking lot along West Chocolate Avenue. Parking will be available across the street from ChocolateTown Square Park in the downtown parking garage, which is accessible from Chocolate Avenue at Linden Road. On-street parking is also available in many locations throughout the village. Take advantage of the beautiful weather and join us this Saturday for another exciting morning!
9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Conrad Fisher
Conrad Fisher is an energetic old soul who plays music steeped in Americana roots. He is passionate about writing and performing songs that tell stories, lift spirits, and express American thought and life. Conrad’s musical influences are Willie Nelson, John Prine, Johnny Cash, Hymns of the church, Merle Haggard, and Don Williams. As a solo act, Conrad performs locally at public and private events with his suitcase drum, guitar, and harmonica. He is sponsored by Keystone Custom Amplifiers and is a proud owner of a custom built amp with killer tone.
