Live Music this Week
Steve Dincau grew up in Hershey and was heavily influenced by the musical talents of his father and older brother. Growing up, Steve played music with his younger brother, which broadened his appreciation of various musical genres.
With a broad repertoire that includes country and oldies to rock and heavy metal, Steve performs as a vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and keyboardist in the bands Western Justice, Crooked Entry, Full Throttle, and most recently Theory Of Chaos, where he performs with his older brother Denny. He also has appeared onstage with local favorites Torkays (which included his father Dennis, Sr., as well as his uncle, Jim Gutshall), The Luv Gods, and Almost Grumpy. He has also performed acoustically alongside his brother, Robert, and is currently one half of the acoustic duo Wooden Nickel with his former bandmate, Matthew Pitkin.
When not onstage with an instrument in his hand, Steve still manages to remain center stage, having performed as an actor for a number of shows at Hershey Area Playhouse including “The 39 Steps”, “Charley’s Aunt,” and “The Fantastics,” to name a few. Steve currently resides in Hummelstown with his wife Christine, Zeus the dog, and Bootz the cat.
