Join your friends and neighbors as we celebrate our volunteers and announce our 2018 Life on Chocolate event season! This event will be held at ChocolateTown Square Park on Tuesday, May 15!
Starting at 4:30, PowerTrain will be hosting a free bootcamp class! These classes are fun, upbeat, and the exercises can be modified to meet individual needs. PowerTrain is one of several area fitness providers that will be offering free classes in ChocolateTown Square on Saturday mornings this summer!
If group fitness isn’t your thing, we’ll also have beer! Following the class, join your friends and neighbors for a game of cornhole and enjoy food and beverages available for purchase from Troegs Independent Brewing, Soul Burrito, and Blazing Swine BBQ.
We’ll also have live music from Hockersville Station, and an announcement of what you can expect at our 2018 Life on Chocolate event series. Hockersville Station is an Americana/Roots quartet from Central PA. Playing a mix of originals and covers, the group draws inspiration from Jason Isbell, the Jayhawks, The Old 97s and The Avett Brothers. Hockersville Station is:
This event and all of our Downtown Hershey events wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers! The Downtown Hershey Association is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that is guided by a fantastic team of volunteers. The work that we do as an organization and the events that we are able to produce would not be possible without the time, energy, and passion that so many folks contribute throughout the year. In addition to providing a preview of our 2018 Life on Chocolate event series, May 15 will be a evening to celebrate our volunteers. Our 2017 volunteers are invited to stop by the Downtown Hershey Association table for a special thank you. Everyone is encouraged to support our Downtown Hershey community by volunteering at one of our events this year. Bring your calendar – we’ll have signup sheets available at the event!
We can’t wait to see you on May 15, and at all of our Life on Chocolate events this summer!
