Music on Chocolate: RFA and Not Quite Einstein take the stage

Downtown Hershey’s summer concert series returns to ChocolateTown Square this weekend! On the Second Saturday of each month this summer, beginning at 7:00 p.m., Downtown Hershey will welcome two bands for a free outdoor concert in a family friendly atmosphere. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Grab a blanket or some chairs, meet up with your friends, and enjoy great live music on a Saturday night.

On June 8, we welcome RFA, a four piece garage rock and roll band from Philadelphia, PA. The strapping young quartet formed out of a couple of lunch table conversations about Elvis, The Rolling Stones, and The Strokes while its members were just sophomores in high school. Now, several years later, after staying together through college, the band boasts two EP’s, a new single, two national tours, a film soundtrack, and countless hours of relentless, sweaty performances under their collective belt. You don’t want to miss this group of super-passionate, high-energy guys from Philly.

Joining RFA on Saturday night is Not Quite Einstein, a local favorite comprised of seasoned veteran musicians who came together from many different paths. The band entertains crowds with a wide variety of music from different genres.

Blazing Swine BBQ will be onsite serving pulled pork sandwiches, fresh from the smoker. Cool off with a sweet treat from Rainbow Snow and Ice Cream. Troegs Independent Brewing will serve cold beer and Olivero’s Vineyard will be onsite with wine and sangria.
