As the snow melts and spring slowly appears, the Life on Chocolate event series can’t be far behind. The Downtown Hershey Association is pleased to once again deliver a full lineup of fun activities. Whether you want an outing for a group of friends, entertainment for the family, or some time out by yourself, we have it all this year in Downtown Hershey.
Market on Chocolate
Saturdays beginning June 2
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Market on Chocolate is coming back this summer on Saturdays from June through August. We are excited to welcome back many of our previous vendors, and are equally excited to introduce you to some new vendors. This year the market will feature many new and returning vendors selling a multitude of goods ranging from craft prepared foods, to unique jewelry and artisan wares, to locally grown items. The market also includes entertainment, children’s activities, and community programming in addition to fitness classes and other special events. Vendor applications are now available on our website.
Music on Chocolate
Second Saturdays beginning June 9
7:00 – 10:00 p.m.
It wouldn’t be summer without concerts! The DHA is happy to welcome back our free summer concert series, Music on Chocolate. Held the second Saturday of June through September in ChocolateTown Square Park, the public can enjoy live music as well as food and beverage options. Stay tuned for the full lineup!
12:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Downtown Hershey is excited to present the first annual Culturefest, a celebration of global arts, food, and music with a local flavor. Held in ChocolateTown Square Park and the streets of Downtown Hershey, this festival will feature the work of fine artisans, great live music, riveting performances, children’s activities, craft beer, wine, and delicious food. Culturefest is free and open to the public. We can’t wait to see you at our newest event! Artisan and food vendor applications are available here.

As the summer cools into fall, we welcome back Choctoberfest for the fourth year. Located in ChoclateTown Square Park in Downtown Hershey, this fall festival features great live music, local craft beer, chocolate, and delicious food from downtown restaurants. This festival is also family friendly, with kids activities for all ages. Choctoberfest is free and open to the public, with food and beverages available for purchase. Check back often on the website for the latest in the event lineup.

Held in ChocolateTown Square Park, this festive celebration kicks off the holiday season. Live music, hot cocoa, and Santa Claus will welcome all who come, whether you are 5 or 50. This event is all free, thanks to our sponsors, so we hope you will all join us for our last 2018 event.
