Downtown Hershey is going green this weekend to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! You`ll be able to find little pots of gold all over Hershey this weekend in the form of flavorful beers and stouts, classic Irish dishes, and live music. Here’s what you can look forward to:
On March 16 and 17, Iron Hill Brewery will be releasing their O’Sullivan Stout, a traditional dry Irish stout served on black nitrogen with a roasty malt flavor and a pronounced dry finish. The O’Sullivan Stout pairs perfectly with their Irish cuisine, corned beef and cabbage braised with Vienna Red Lager.
One of Hershey’s hot-spots, Houlihan’s, will be featuring a reuben sandwich and a reuben flatbread March 14 – 18. On St. Patrick’s Day, you’ll be able to find Guinness pub cans, Killian’s Irish Red, and Jameson Irish Whiskey at special pricing all day.
Hop over to Fenicci’s for Speakeasy Jazz on Saturday and Irish dinner specials all weekend. The bar and restaurant will also feature special pricing on Jameson and Guinness all weekend.
Need a little pick-me-up? The Downtown Hershey Starbucks will be featuring a special Leprechaun Cloud Macchiato this weekend and into next week, while supplies last.
Devon Seafood Grill will be releasing a new brunch item, Andouille Hash & Poached Egg, which includes roasted red pepper, red onion, potatoes, serrano, and andouille sausage topped with a 5 oz. Top Sirloin or a grilled chicken breast.
This weekend, The Escape Room in Hershey will be hosting a Leprechaun Treasure Hunt! If you are able to successfully complete the hunt, you can exchange the treasure you discovered for a surprise gift! These prizes include Hershey Biergarten gift certificates, candy, and T-shirts. Come see if you can discover the leprechaun’s treasure!
The Pantry Cafe at The Hershey Story Museum is the place to go for festive sweet and caffeinated beverages. Featured drinks include a Blarney kissed latte, Luck o’ the Irish hot chocolate, and of course, Shamrock milkshakes. The Cafe will be featuring delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes March 11 – March 17. Featured breakfast dishes include strawberry and cream baked oatmeal, corned beef hash, avocado toast, and oreo mint chip pancakes. For lunch, expect a tasty corn beef flatbread, honey glazed chicken salad, and corn beef reuben. Guests can find the same specials at The Pantry restaurant, and for dinner, the Irish classic, corned beef and cabbage. Come by and taste what they have to offer!
From March 14 – 17, The Mill in Hershey will be providing delicious and festive handmade cocktails! For the sweeter tooth, there will be a Shamrocktini, Jolly Irishman, and other sugary treats. For a more refreshing taste, the Lucky Leprechaun will bring you fruity elements. And for those who want something a little more simple, there will be Guinness Stout available. Whatever your preference, The Mill will have something for you to help celebrate the holiday!
On March 16, Primanti’s will be celebrating on St. Patrick’s Day with a live DJ from 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m., $3 jello shots, a free jukebox from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., and green Coors Light all day long!
On March 16 and 17 @ 8:30 a.m., Irv’s Pub will be holding Kegs & Eggs! Special breakfast and brunch menus will be available both days, along with live music from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.! Saturday, experience the music of Sean Suttle followed by Wyndfall. Sunday, look forward to Glenside followed by house favorite David Heilman.
We hope you’ll head to Downtown Hershey this weekend where you may even find a pot o’ gold at the end of the rainbow! Even if you don’t, there will be plenty of other ways to celebrate!
