Bands
We’re excited to welcome to the stage, from Philly, a high energy and super fun band, RFA, in addition to the talented group of musicians in Cold Spring Union! The always fun No Last Call will help us kick start the day, plus, look forward to an acoustic performance from Steve Meehan and local blues favorites Amy Simpson Band. Thinking of coming? You should! Our answers to FAQs are provided below to help your day run smoothly.

Can I bring my dog?
YES! We welcome friendly pets at Choctoberfest, as long as they are accompanied by their responsible pet owners. We’ll be bringing back our doggie hospitality station at the Downtown Hershey information tent. Your pup can stop by our community water bowl and pick up a poop bag if needed, while supplies last. The Hound Dog Snackery will also be joining us as a vendor in 2019.

Where can I park?
The Downtown Hershey parking garages will be open and can be accessed from Chocolate Avenue via Ridge Road or Linden Road. The surface parking lot at the corner of Homestead Road and Chocolate Avenue will also be available.

What about handicapped parking?
We will have a limited number of handicapped parking spaces available in the Caracas Avenue lot adjacent to the fire station.

Is there an ATM onsite?
Good question, as not all of our vendors are able to accept credit cards. We will not have an ATM onsite, but there are several banks in proximity to Choctoberfest that have ATMs available:
Wells Fargo – 27 Ridge Road, Hershey, 17033
BBT – 201 W. Chocolate Avenue, Hershey, 17033

Will there be restroom facilities on-site?
YES. We will have portable restroom facilities on-site.

How much does it cost?
Choctoberfest is free and open to the public, with food and beverages available for purchase. We’ll also have Choctoberfest t-shirts and posters available for purchase at the Downtown Hershey Information tent. Remember, not all vendors are able to accept credit cards.

What if it rains?
Choctoberfest is a RAIN or SHINE event. We hope for shine.

Can I dress up?
We don’t know, can you? Come as you are. We welcome everyone but we are family friendly.

This event sounds fun. Can I help?
YES! The Downtown Hershey Association is a non-profit, volunteer organization and we are always looking for people to join us! Sign up here to volunteer on the day of Choctoberfest, or stop by our Downtown Hershey information tent to learn more about how you can get involved. Anyone who signs up to be a trash tender for two hours at Choctoberfest scores a free t-shirt!

Help! I still have questions!
