The Hershey Food Bank is holding its largest annual fundraiser, “Feed the Need: Flavors of Fall,” on Sunday, November 12, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Hershey Country Club (1000 E Derry Rd, Hershey, PA 17033). This year the Food Bank is celebrating its 50-year anniversary.
Now in its sixth year, Feed the Need is presented in partnership with Hershey Entertainment and Resorts. The event is an evening of food and wine, featuring the Executive Chefs of The Circular at The Hotel Hershey, Trevi 5 at The Hotel Hershey, The Forebay and The Hershey Grill at the Hershey Lodge, Devon Seafood Grill, and Hershey Country Club. Guests are welcome to bid on silent and live auction items, while sampling the delicious bites. Feed the Need has produced significant funding for the Food Bank, growing from $43,000 in 2015 to $70,000 last year. The event regularly sells out, with more than 250 community-minded guests attending and supporting the evening’s charitable mission.
The Hershey Food Bank and Community Outreach, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that serves the needs of any Derry Township resident. The primary service of the Hershey Food Bank is to provide supplemental food and emergency assistance to qualifying local families and individuals.
