Two new food trucks are coming to Market on Chocolate this week and to say we are excited would be an understatement. Somehow Healthy is a Hershey-based smoothie truck that serves deliciously refreshing and artificial-ingredient-free drinks. We know you’ll be in love at first sip. Serving up your main dish is Triple Ceez Chicken Wingz. This tasty truck features chicken and waffles, multiple flavors of freshly made wings, and chicken fingers. Both trucks are sure to be a hit with kids of all ages. Looking for vegan fare, Rola’s Lebanese Food has you covered with her specially made falafel.
In addition to our vendors, we have several other attractions. Make sure you stop by the Central PA Blood Mobile. This is a great way to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors and friends. After donating some life-saving blood, take a seat in the park to listen to the Joe Cooney and Friends Duo. Joe Cooney and Dan Gierhart provide fun acoustic covers across a wide range of music including classic rock, folk, blues, light jazz, and country.
There will also be free activities for the kids with both The Hershey Story and SPLAT Studio hosting booths from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. SPLAT will help kids create art projects they can treasure or send to their favorite aunt. The Hershey Story Kids will let kids play the role of a factory worker from long ago as they hand-sort bars into packages for shipping. Kids get to try on factory worker name tags, hats and gloves—and test their sorting skills against each other!
You can check our our complete vendor and activity listing for this week—and every week this summer.
