If you’re looking for trees, elves, lights, or Santa, Hershey is the place to be this holiday season! We’re excited to share some of our favorite things to do this month.
Hersheypark’s Christmas Candylane is open daily through January 1st, which includes holiday rides, lights, entertainment, and special visits with Santa and his reindeer. Over 4 million lights deck the halls of Hersheypark, so come and enjoy a choreographed light show and live entertainment while you enjoy your day at the park! Can’t take the cold? Sweet Lights will be open through January 1st, and guests can enjoy nearly 600 illuminated, animated displays through a two mile wooded trail from the comfort of their car. Chocolate World will be hosting their own festive events as well! They will be presenting Hershey’s Holiday Chocolate House, modeled after High Point Mansion and supporting the Children’s Miracle Network. There will also be Breakfast with Santa, Decorating with Mrs. Claus, Photos with Santa, and a New Year’s Eve Celebration with special activities and Hershey’s product character appearances. Hershey Gardens is also celebrating the holidays. They have The Christmas Tree Showcase until January 1st, as well as some Visits from Santa until December 14th. There will be Guided Garden Walks until December 28th as well as Crafty Christmas Creations from December 21 – 24 and December 26 – 31. For more information, visit here.
If you want to brighten your holidays even further, look no further than Hershey Theatre! There will be many holiday-themed shows this December, including Elf on The Shelf: A Christmas Musical; Hershey Symphony: Holiday Spectacular; and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker. At the Pantry Cafe there will also be Breakfast with Santa! Come from 8:00 – 11:30 a.m. on December 14th and 21st to enjoy your breakfast with the one and only Santa Claus! Choose from a special menu and don’t forget to bring your camera! For more information, visit here.
And finally, at the Hershey Historical Society’s annual Christmas train display is open to the public! The train operates daily (save for Sundays) until December 31st. Train enthusiasts of all ages can enjoy over 25 interactive displays on a large scale layout. Admission for adults is $4, and $2 for children (ages 4-12). Kids under 3 get in free.
