Looking for a fun way to burn off those delicious Choctoberfest treats? Be a part of the Hershey Half Marathon on Sunday, October 16!
The race begins at 7:30 am at the HersheyPark Stadium box office, and follows a 13.1 mile course through many of Hershey’s spectacular destinations. Runners may traverse the course individually or as part of a 2-person relay team, and each participant must maintain a 14-minute mile pace.
Want to stay involved, but don’t want to run? No problem! There’s still time to register as a volunteer at water and/or aid stations, or to cheer for the runners throughout the course! Just remember that volunteer coordinators will do their best to place volunteers where they would like to be, but you may be needed elsewhere along the course instead.
The Hershey Half Marathon is a fun community event, and a great way for participants to help support the Children’s Miracle Network. Funds raised from the race will go directly towards services and resources for the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Patient services, research, equipment, program services, and educational resources all benefit from events and donations.
