Holiday Touches Added to ChocolateTown Square Park

It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas in Downtown Hershey, thanks in part to the Bowman Trust and Davis Landscaping. The Bowman Trust is partnering with the Downtown Hershey Association to donate materials necessary to decorate the acorn lights in ChocolateTown Square Park with lighted garland and a festive red bow at the top in preparation for Downtown Hershey’s Holiday Celebration this Friday, December 7. Davis Landscaping is donating the labor to install the garland and will be removing and storing the materials following the holiday season so they can be used again next year.

The decorated lamp posts will complement the holiday wreaths that hang from the iconic Hershey’s Kisses streetlights, which the Bowman Trust has sponsored since 2002. The Bowman Trust is also responsible for the hanging flower baskets along Chocolate Avenue during the warmer months of the year.

The William S. Bowman Trust for the Horticultural Beautification of Hershey was created in March 1996. The Trust relies on contributions from individuals and businesses to fund its many beautification projects, and all contributions are tax deductible. The Downtown Hershey Association thanks the Bowman Trust and Davis Landscaping for their contributions this holiday season that help to beautify Chocolate Avenue and create a sense of place in Downtown Hershey!
