It’s Your Last Chance: This Saturday Concludes Our 2018 Summer Season of Market on Chocolate

It’s hard to believe that we are on the brink of fall, which means that our 2018 summer season of Market on Chocolate will be coming to a close this Saturday. We would love to welcome you back to ChocolateTown Square this Saturday for our market day finale!

If you haven’t yet tried one of our free weekly fitness classes, don’t miss the three opportunities this Saturday to get fit with your neighbors and friends. Early risers can join an 8:30 a.m. Pilates class with Sally Kurtz. You can also consider joining a 9:30 a.m. Pound class by Powertrain, and then a 10:30 a.m. Dailey Method class.

One of the best things about summer is freshly picked produce from local farms. Hidden Horse Acres and Rising Sun Acres will be back at market with plenty of delicious fruit and vegetables for your grocery bags. Items available will include: Peaches, nectarines, watermelon, brandywine tomatoes, canning tomatoes, red grape tomatoes, yellow grape tomatoes, pickling cucumbers, red beets, cabbage, sweet corn, hot & bell peppers, green & yellow zucchini, string beans, kale, carrots, and more. Local farms Pasture’s Pride and Lavender and Locks will also be there with their grass-fed beef and gorgeous flower bouquets.

It always rewarding to give back, and with the Bloodmobile being at Market this week you will have the opportunity to give a voluntary, life-saving blood donation that will help fill a dire need in our local community.

If you come to the Market hungry, food options will include: Lucky Penny Burger Company, Grappling Crab Shack, Rola’s Lebanese Food, Guacamole Specialist, and more.

Local music favorite, John Rossey, with be serenading us with his Americana tunes during a 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. set of live music.

Be at ChocolateTown Square from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and visit our wonderful group of 28 vendors. Keep Christmas gift ideas in mind as you browse through their beautiful handcrafted products. Your enthusiasm for shopping local and coming together as a community each week at Market on Chocolate is the key element in the success story for so many of these family-run small businesses. From our hearts to yours—thank you!
