As part of the holiday season, Starbucks is celebrating with a Week of Cheer. Between November 26 and December 3 individual stores across the country are engaging with local communities and national nonprofit organizations to get involved, volunteer, and complete service projects.
In Downtown Hershey, on Giving Tuesday, November 27, six starbucks employees braved the cold and wind to help rake leaves in ChocolateTown Square Park, with rakes and leaf blowers on loan from the Derry Township Public Works Department. Their efforts help to get the park into ideal shape for the Holiday Celebration on December 7, and they say they had a fun time doing it!
Planning to come to Downtown Hershey’s Holiday Celebration? You can also look for Starbucks employees at the event, where they will be providing free coffee for attendees, while supplies last. In addition, Starbucks is participating in the holiday ticket promotion that runs through December 7, offering ticket holders $2 off a grande or larger Frappuccino or espresso beverage, and donating a gift basket for the raffle that will be held at the Holiday Celebration. Pick up your ticket at select local businesses, the Hershey Recreation Center, or the Hershey Public Library. More information about this promotion can be found here.
Since the store’s mid-September opening in the Hershey Towne Square, Starbucks has become a Downtown Hershey destination for folks looking to warm up with a cup of coffee or espresso beverage, or grab a lite snack while studying, working, or socializing. The space was intentionally designed to include a large dining area that exudes a sense of comfort for community members looking to stay and visit for a little while. Starbucks is open from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
