Savor these last few weekends of summer— enjoy this Saturday night at Downtown Hershey’s Music on Chocolate!
On September 10, two local acts, Nate Myers and the Aces, and Sweet Corn and Peanut, are set to hit the Chocolate Town Square stage, starting at 7:00 pm. With Nate Myers as lead vocalist, Nate Myers and the Aces, has been thrilling crowds in Central PA for more than 15 years. Nate has played over a thousand shows and recorded five studio albums in the last seven years. He’s opened for international and national touring acts like Cheap Trick, Kansas, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, and G. Love over the years. Nate and his band play roots, funk, and blues originals as well as some covers, and always focus on engaging and entertaining the audience.
Next up, Yuki Stehman (Sweet Corn) and Kehau Wright (Peanut) join forces, to bring you the dynamic duo that is Sweet Corn and Peanut. Since first hitting the stage in 2012, this dynamic duo, have performed music that speaks to the story of the human experience. “People want to feel connected to the music they are listening to. They want to feel like you’re singing about them, that they’re not alone.” Pulling inspiration from an eclectic background of music (from metal to delta blues), Sweet Corn & Peanut incorporate a multitude of musical genres into their music giving every type of listener something to love. From the lyrics they sing to the genres they embrace, there is something for everyone in Sweet Corn & Peanut’s music.
This month Music on Chocolate has partnered with The Pantry Cafe at the Hershey Story to provide salads, sandwiches and snacks as well as ice cream and desserts available for purchase. Olivero’s Vineyard and Troegs Beer Garden are also providing drinks for purchase. No BYOB please.
